Frank J. Lasch joined the DeGraff law firm in October 1960, after serving three years in the U.S. Navy. He is a 1954 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts, and a 1957 graduate of Cornell University Law School. Mr. Lasch has been a partner of the firm since January 1, 1963.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lasch has been a general practitioner with a concentration on legislative representation. Active in the New York State capital for over thirty years, he represented a great variety of business interests. Included among his clients was the residential construction industry, which he represented for over 25 years. Other clients include the Chase Manhattan Bank, Brooklyn Union Gas Company, National Fuel Gas, Consolidated Natural Gas, New York State Board of Realtors, New York State Bar Association, the supermarket industry, private mortgage insurance interests, the Tobacco Institute, and the cemetery industry. In 1994, Mr. Lasch retired from his legislative practice.

While not engaged in the legislature, Mr. Lasch represented a variety of business interests. For over twenty years, he has served as general counsel for a family business, which manufactures fine papers with annual sales in excess of $100 million. For fifteen years he served as general counsel to a cement-manufacturing corporation which was part of the Swiss cement conglomerate. At present, in addition to the paper manufacturer, he represents a number of closely held corporations with a net worth in the $2 to $20 million range. In most instances, he also represents the principal shareholders personally.
